A Holistic Education through Art

Art plays a pivotal role in fostering cognitive, emotional, and social development. It playfully allows for the exploration of a wide range of subjects, leading to a holistic education that is meaningful to parent and child.

We Want to Raise...

Inclusion

Art is for everyone. During the Year of Art we explore art from all angles in so many different ways, as artists come in all shapes and sizes and with all different (dis)abilities. The process of creating art can be therapeutic, reducing anxiety levels and providing a calming effect by allowing individuals to channel their emotions into their artwork. Additionally, art promotes sensory integration by encouraging focus, concentration, spatial-, and fine motor skills development. Through the use of different materials, colours and textures, individuals can engage their senses and develop a stronger connection with their surroundings.

Collaboration & Social Skills

Lots of art projects involve team work, either by helping each other when working in the same space, or in the form of a group assignment or critique sessions. Collaborating with others not only improves communication and teamwork skills, but also exposes individuals to different perspectives and ideas, fostering a sense of community and shared learning.
